Monday 1st March 2010
12:30 PM - 2:00 PM

Simon Hackett, from the School of Applied Social Sciences, will present a seminar entitled ‘Children: Risks to wellbeing, resilience and developmental outcomes’ on 1 March from 12.30 to 2pm in Seminar Room 010, Geography Department, Durham University.

This forms part of the Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience’s series of Monday lunchtime seminars. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion at the end of the session.

Simon will present some of the initial pilot findings from an ESRC-funded project he is directing, relating to development trajectories of children with problematic sexual behaviours. He will use a case example to link findings to key themes from the literature on children’s resilience in the face of adversity.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided, but please feel free to being your lunch as well.
