The aim of this free conference is to improve health and social care services for migrants. It will examine the barriers to access to services experienced by migrant communities, issues of quality and to consider the commissioning skills needed to support the needs of diverse and mobile migrant communities. The content is aimed at commissioners and providers of services, those working with migrant communities and others working in this area such as colleagues from public health and academia. Expert speakers and facilitators will explore with participants some of the key issues for ensuring effective service delivery with workshops to consider specific issues in more detail.
