This event will bring together a cross-sector audience of professionals committed to tackling the broader determinants of health
We will look at public health in the current national and regional framework and at future challenges for delivery
Invited speakers include senior level representatives from the Department of Health, Association of North East Councils and the Marmot Review Team
Objectives
Shaping the direction of public health in the region and supporting sustainable improvements in wellbeing
Knowledge exchange to support future policy and practice in tackling the broader determinants of health
Opportunity to share effective and cost effective practice in education, evidence, workforce development and delivery
Increased knowledge and awareness of how partner organisations work together towards common aims to improve health and wellbeing in the North East
