Sir Liam Donaldson reflects on 12 years of CMO
Professor Sir Liam Donaldson will be visiting the region on 17 March to give a lecture offering a reflection on his 12 years in office as the Chief Medical Officer for England and the likely challenges for the future.
The lecture is likely to be one of his last public speeches, as Sir Liam retires in May 2010. It will be held from 12-1pm in the Haydock Room, Newcastle Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park. It will be followed by lunch at 1pm.
